Dr. Brendan Barnes, DO

Dr. Brendan Barnes is a West Michigan native, having grown up in South Haven. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan in 2013, he received his medical degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York, NY in 2018. Afterward, he returned to Michigan to continue his training as a Family Medicine resident with Spectrum Health Lakeland, which he completed in 2021.

Prior to joining Family Physicians of St. Joseph, he served as a physician with Sparrow Medical Group in Lansing, MI, and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Barnes is married with two children and in his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching Michigan sports, playing soccer, board games, and computer games.
